It means everything. The materials we use to produce our collections must match our product and design DNA when it comes to durability, comfort and care.
We prioritize different materials in our production because they have different expressions and properties. These are materials that have certain properties that you cannot get enough of. The materials are i.a. soft, breathable, warm, light and comfortable. These are materials that are pure wellness for your body - and your mind.
We know that our choice of materials has a big impact on the environment. Therefore, we only select quality materials and fibers that have a sustainable focus and that have a smaller impact on our planet. Our colleagues, partners and customers mean a lot to us. We want a brighter future, and we want to adapt and maintain a high quality of our Nightwear & Loungewear. We will strive to reassess and rethink our brand so that we can help and protect our shared planet for the benefit of the next generation.
EcoVero Viscose
Viscose is distinguished by its silky surface. Therefore, it is a material created for our nightwear that must be elegant and comfortable at the same time. At CCDK Copenhagen, we prefer ECOVERO™ to conventional viscose because we know for sure that the raw materials are grown in a respectful way. Both water consumption and CO2 emissions are halved by 50%, as the wood fibers come from FSC certified forests.

Bamboo Viscose
Bamboo Viscose has soft and breathable properties on the same level as Viscose. There is no material that surpasses the bamboo plant when it comes to its extremely fast growth mode. It can grow between 5-20 cm. per day. It does not need pesticides or large amounts of water to soar.

Cotton is a classic but indispensable material for us, because it is both soft but also incredibly durable. Therefore, cotton nightwear can last for several decades. We use organic cotton for our nightwear because we ensure that our farmers are not exposed to harmful sprays or chemicals during their working day. In addition, we also help to preserve biodiversity.

We work towards exclusively using Recycled Polyester is made from recycled plastic bottles, fabric residues from production or used polyester products. Recycled polyester reduces the amount of plastic and textile waste and in some cases contributes to a more circular fashion industry.
